I have worked with children across all aspects of my career and have seen them grow in confidence and self-esteem simply by being involved in the creative arts. Be that within a learning environment of a school or group acting, singing or dance class, treading the boards in a theatrical role or as part of a filming project. It is an inspiration to watch them bloom in an environment that encourages individuality.
My career has been varied and I have been lucky enough to be involved in some great productions, both on stage and on screen.
I started backstage as a local dresser at the Bristol Hippodrome, working on various visiting musicals before stepping out into the big wide world of Touring Musical Theatre. I spent almost 9 years on the road before packing my suitcase away and for the last 5 years I have been working in the Production Office on TV Dramas and Feature Films.
In my years working in Theatre, Film and Television I have developed a strong belief that all children should have the opportunity to get involved in the arts.
It was this belief along with a booming filming industry in Bristol that were the main factors in my decision to start up Briz Kidz Casting Ltd.
